That makes sense from his performance in the Die Hard movies.Bruce Willis is better at comedy than I realized. He's got great comedic timing.
And on "Moonlighting", where he got his start. That makes sense from his performance in the Die Hard movies.
I vaguely remember that show...maybe worth revisiting...And on "Moonlighting", where he got his start.
Agreed. Ever since the introduction of the gather step, I find the game unwatchable. The 1972 NBA All-Star Game on NBA-TV.
It's so refreshing to see players actually dribble the ball and not carry it, no traveling, actual plays being run. teamwork being displayed, actual defense being played, great midrange jump shooting, and nobody yelling, contorting their faces, or pounding their chests.
Jerry West, who is still one of the top 10 (and maybe even top 5) NBA players of all time, hit the game-winning shot, and he didn't go crazy celebrating. Many of today's players hit a game-winning shot in a regular season game in January, and they lose it to the point where I almost expect their heads to explode!
Finally watched Challengers. Meh. I didn't like or dislike. It was dead in the middle for me. Really liked the soundtrack, though. Also style and no substance. Three unlikeable main characters. Pretentious cinematography. Unnecessary zooming into things. That movie annoyed me.
"Damsel" on Netflix. Some interesting twists on the roles of the damsel, stepmother, and dragon.
We agree on this.Saturday we watched "Damsel" on Netflix, starring Millie Bobby Brown with Ray Winstone, Robin Wright and Angela Bassett. An interesting twist on the whole fairy tale genre. The story sets up well, although there are some slow spots. Worth a watch.
