Anyone got any advice on the best place to buy boutique pedals in Europe? I live in Amsterdam, but a UK store that ships would be good.

I recall I found a great one in the UK a few days ago but I cannot for the life of me remember what it was... ;-)

Thanks!

I've used these two in the UK and they're good and reliable

Visited rratajski's Fuzzrocious page just for kicks and found out he offers the Dark Driving with a mod for the controls on the outside. I knew the one knob only thing wasn't going to work for me, so I put it out of my mind. Controls on the outside were what I wanted, even asked him about it but he didn't offer it when it first released. NOW I WANT ONE!

I could understand the one knob thing too, but several of my basses have pretty significantly different output which is why I knew it wouldn't work. My Jazz is SUPER hot, my Stambaugh much lower output, and basses with various output levels in between. I didn't want to have to A) Set the DD for one bass and not use it with others or B) have to keep opening it to reset the trim pots.

Controls on the outside = win, and a modded DD may just be my next pedal... Even before the Polytope!

i hardcore derp'd'd'd'd'd mine. i didn't bond with the one i had because....... it was too dark for what i was looking for.

i bought a pedal. named the DARK Driving. knowing i didn't like super dark distortion.

i'm a GENIUS.

Lolz

The BJFE Blueberry is my Holy Grail drive (which is pretty dark, according to recordings I've heard), so the Dark Driving hit my radar in a big way. Now that it has the mod........ ;) ;)

I solved that problem with clean boosts. Admittedly, I only have two basses right now, so one boost pedal isn't that big a deal. It's a thought, tho...

It's a thought, for sure... But I've never been a fan of having to put a pedal on my board to fix an issue with another, you know? My main board is a Pedaltrain Mini, so even if I was willing to do the boost, I can't afford the space.
