What's in your Gig Bag...?

I did not want to brag about the panties, that was a long time ago, I'm fat & have a bald spot now, no more 110 lb babes like me anymore.
I really was curious to know how much stuff everyone else drags around with them. That we never wind up using ourselves, cant tell you how many 9-volt batteries I gave to freinds over the years. :)

Keep the memory alive, that way when it is your turn to be the weird old guy who sits in the rocking chair with the far-away look and grin on your face there is a reason for the grin. :D The three spare power cords are my main 'this is for everyone else' bit.

Let's see...

9v batts
hearing protection
extra strings (bass and guitar)
string winder
jewel box full of extra g*&tar picks
extra drum sticks
(apparently the bassist is the responsible one)
small towel
allen wrench set
Glue. Strong stuff. <----joke
screwdriver set
lighter (don't smoke, but... You never know)
pen, paper
tuner
extra strap
instrument cables w/extras
speaker cables w/extras
and last but not least... The all important...
Duct Tape.

I guess I should have some TP... What a great idea.

Cheers,
Chris

I usually have things in places other than the bag, but altogether, I keep:

Tuner
screwdriver
wrenches
3 cords of different sizes
this wooden thing that comes in handy sometimes
ear plugs
strings if I have em
metronome
knobs
picks (in case a guitarist needs them)
my lucky pencil
a lighter, for lighting things on fire...and um...other stuff
a piece of mousepad
a few adapters
and my strap.

and maybe a few other things.

I have one of those leather bags with several pockets and a shoulder strap. I keep things fairly organized. It is pretty heavy though. I don't use all that stuff all the time, that bag is just where I keep most everything, but I do take it to every gig.

After reading everyones replies, I have made an
addition to mine.
Swiss Army Knife I found in a desk at work, most likely from the poor sap who had this job before me, I am surprised he did not use it to take his own life.
And a Lighter.....for ? whatever needs to be lit.
I had one left over from the Glory days of heavy metal, with our old band logo on it,it still works.
Black with White Skull & Crossbone. ah the good ol days.

I don't put things in my gig bags, except for my basses. I carry a flight case with foam inserts and keep all of the essentials in it.

I dunno...you guys must be some wussies with that finger bleeding stuff:p

I play pretty damn hard sometimes and I get no cuts,nothing...

It's funny though, because most of you are the type that just stand there and play all softly and crap;):p
