I'm on the middle of working on a couple serving platters / cutting board. These will be traded to my tattoo artist for some tattoo work -

Hard to really tell at this point because the one just came out of the clamps and still has glue all over it, and the other is in my janky clamp situation. At 13-1/2" wide my 12" parallel clamps won't clamp these, so I glued them up in 2 pieces and then glued the 2 halves by clamping them between bench dogs using the end vice. Lots of weight in the form of bowl blanks too hold them flat while the glue dries.
Sometimes I have to remember that my bench is also a tool.

And in other news, found me a nice little trim router for a sweet price. -

All my tools are the yellow brand so I've got plenty batteries and chargers. This will fit in nicely.

There's nothing janky about clamping a wide piece between the vise and the dogs. It's using a bench as designed.

Well I inherited a couple of boxes of violin wood. Also some acoustic guitar parts as well but not pictured. I need to find some time to sort it all. Probably not much I can use and I will likely disseminate.

Well I don't see anything I can use for a scale reference, but seems to me they're all small pieces. So unless you'll consider switching to uke building...

Yes I haven't gone through it. There are violin matched tops and maybe backs. Rib material and bracing stock. Some violin neck blanks. Ebony for fingerboards and tailpieces. All sized for violins. There are several incomplete violins as well as a couple of acoustic guitar projects (body and neck). When I get a chance I will lay it all out. sort and photograph. There could be one or two viola sized pieces as well.

Or just sell it on Ebay to a violin maker, any kind of good lumber is stupid expensive these days, last time I bought some figured maple, I almost choked on the sticker shock.
