What's *your* favorite Peavey amp??

My very first "bass" amp was a KB300 (1-15" Scorpion and a horn) too. I was a keyboard player that switched to playing bass back in the day so that's what I used. I bought it brand new back in the early 90's (1991, I think). I still have it today and it still works. Once I started playing bass more on a regular basis, I "upgraded" to an actual bass amp and bought a T-Max 115 combo (1-15" Black Widow and a tweeter).....which I still have today and it still works as well.
I had a Combo 300, or at least that's what I think it was called, in the late 80s I liked. Quite heavy, as I recall.
Not to derail the thread, but Peavey also provided me the worst amp I've ever had: the Databass, acquired some time in the early 90s. I was looking for power in a small package and the Databass, at 400 watts or something into a 15 inch speaker, seemed like a decent deal. It wasn't. The bastard blew speakers so frequently Bill's Music in Baltimore said they would stop replacing them, even though the amp was still well within the warranty. It also would faded out when pushed for a long period of time. The Databass was the exact opposite of the workman-like reliability of these other Peavey amps. Never owned a Peavey after that.

My first bass amp was a Peavey Pacer which was actually a guitar amp but sounded exceptionally well with a bass. The Black Widow speaker I added made it absolutely indestructible and I still regret letting it go. I have a Heritage VTX (another guitar amp) with a tube output that has great tone, is freakin' LOUD, but weighs a freakin' TON and since I do not do electric guitar gigs, it stays in my house basically unused for the last 10 years or so.
I have always been impressed with Peavey combos I have plugged into and am currently in the market for one. Anyone have any thoughts on the Peavey Max 115? It seems gig worthy with 300W and a single 15" that easily fits in the trunk of my Honda Civic!

I used to set one of these on top of a Sonic 215 PA cab and use that as my bass amp. This was over 20 years ago, but I'm pretty sure I plugged my Ibanez SR800 directly into it.
Sounded fairly huge.
My favorite peavey rig I owned was the max pre with a cs800x pushing an 810tvx.
The best I've tried lately was a vb-3 into a vb810. It was good, nice warm fat tone, better than my old oeavey rack setup. But Not good enough for me to want to lug it around when I have a rack thats only slightly over 20lbs and a cab which I already love
Honestly the most gigged peavey amps I've seen others use are the old fire bass 700 heads which only cost about $200 used these days.

My peavey gear back it would be my basic 60. I actually only owned it for about 5 years, and it wasn't amazing, but I spent a lot of time wood shopping with that little amp the first few years, it would still be decent enough to at least jam with a couple acoustic guitars.

This is the most awesome stoner doom band amp just listen to any Dead Meadow or Electric wizard this is the sound I want one to go with my T-40 to have a sweet peavey rig

Nice!! I recall one of my first gigs ever a drunk knock mine over face first onto a concrete floor and it was completely fine!!
I tried unsuccessfully to google search a pic of my old keyboard amp, ill try again later, but I'm now convinced it must've been bigger than a single 15" speaker as it had 2 recessed side handles and was about as tall as a washing machine!!(I cringe as I recall the times I manhandled it *by myself * for rehearsal, my back hurts just thinking about it

I'm still not sure which amp this is because this pic is at least from 94, but I can sorta narrow it down now...it was the largest combo amp I've ever seen or used

My first decent amp was a TNT 150 Wedge and I loved it. It's essentially a bass amp in the shape of a stage monitor (which makes it a a pain in the ass to fit into most cars). It was also designed to be used sideways (facing forward) in a traditional amp way. A reliable, heavy and indestructible workhorse.

I've played a lot of them and owned a couple. My favorite is the T-Max. I still own it, too. It lives at my practice space hooked to a Fender Rumble 410 which I also love. It's a nice rig for band practice.

I've been digging the Peavey IPR2-3000-DSP for a while now. I upgraded from a Peavey IPR-3000 about 6 months ago.
I'm also a fan of this Peavey Delta Blues with a single 15" speaker...thing sound faneffingtastic:
Although I think the Classic 30 is a wonderful amp too.

For bass:
Whichever I find that is biggest and loudest for $100 or less, they all have the general Peavey tone.
For guitar:
Bandit 112, my favourite guitar amp I have ever played through.
