It's funny, lots of people love the V30 with the DSL series (and make them sound good). I could never make that combo work. I'm running Greenbacks right now.

I’m sure GBs sound stellar with them. I am interested in having two in an X pattern.
The DSLs are odd with their EQs imo. I have the presence off and most the other eq pots near off. Classic Marshall tone. As Nuno. He uses them in the studio and live.

Squier CV50s duo sonic into my Monoprice StageRight 15. I’ve replaced the speaker with an old Fender Musicmaster bass amp speaker, and all of the tubes are NOS Soviet tubes. I used to exclusively string the duo with flats, but it’s been buzzing with those lately, so now it’s got rounds in it with no buzz. I think the nut might be going out? Idk.

I have a Pueblo Pink Ernie Ball Mariposa, an Orange Rocker 32, and for pedals: a pile of sweet fuzz, a wah, Moogerfoogers, Eventide and more. I think I am going to play guitar instead of bass tonight!
I don’t really play guitar but I do have a Stratocaster. I run it DI into my UAD Apollo and use the fender tweed amp Sims and space echo. Sounds amazing.

When I lived in Moscow (2000-2012) I had dozens and dozens of different electric guitars (mostly custom shop prototypes) - but for a stage rig I always used to run them through my trusty VOX Tonelab SEs (floorboard edition). Had a small Mesa combo at home but never gigged with it. I still have a Tonelab but in recent years (back here in Canada) I've been gigging bass again, and only play guitars on occasional studio recordings, always thru a Line6 modeler. I do have a little vintage magnatone tube combo waiting to get dusted off for recording one of these days. But I'm sold on modeling amps and in-ears for gigging; never going back to stage amps!
Just sold a pile of Jackson super-strats, now down to just a custom artwork strat strung with flatwounds, a line6 variax, a custom hybrid-hollow-solidbody, and what will be a very nice Warmoth 7/8th superstrat - when I can get around to assembling it!
(Incidentally, I also have what will be an awesome Warmoth shortscale bass - which has been aging nicely in the boxes for five years now - I really need to set up a workbench here...)

Many guitar rigs in my life. Back in the day, Stratocasters into a Marshall Major stack. Input boosted but not fuzz/distortion, occasional phaser or flanger and/or digital delay. But that’s 40-30 years ago. Nowadays? The Major is retired, and the one remaining 4x12 sits in my studio. Today it could be, depending on scenario, a Strat or a Rogue sitar-guitar or a 12 string or whatever into a 1x12 combo. Of which I have three: a Fender PRII, a Marshall DSL40c, and a Katana II 50w.
I do have a lightweight 2x12 to run those into, which is a blessing. It makes more clean volume, it provides floor coupling to give the sound more depth… and oriented vertically with the combo on top, it gets the sound up into my ears. This allows me to lower the overall volume, because I can hear myself. And it takes up no more stage space than the combo.

Very simple. '73 Strat thru a Peavey 130 Special 1-12 combo, only pedal is an EHX POG. Only for recording. Use the same amp and pedal live for the high end of my biamped bass rig. During a short period of metal insanity when I first bought the guitar, it was a Marshall Super Lead 100 full stack plus a Phase 90 and Fuzz Face.
I have played bass exclusively for 15 years but am getting an opportunity to play guitar in a Duo on acoustic/electric and sub guitar in my own band, having someone else play bass. I’m considering buying an HX Stomp and using it for both bass and guitar using different presets. Not sure I want to invest in guitar amps and pedals when the stomp could probably do double duty. I’m almost ampless on bass anyway and use IEM’s, so board to FOH looks like my future.
I have two electric guitars, a Squier Tele, and a Fender Jazzmaster, played through a Fender DeLuxe amp. I also have a Dobro, and a Taylor Dreadnought guitar.
If I know ahead of time that I have to play guitar during a bass gig, I'll bring my Gibson L-4CES and play it through whatever bass amp I'm using on stage.
When hired as a guitarist I use that L-4 with a cheapo Fender Mustang III v2 on the Fender Deluxe Reverb setting. Works really well.
If we get a song request during a show (usually an oddball jazz number) that my guitarist/wife is unsure of, I'll set aside the upright and use her Gibson J45 or her backup, my old Gibson ES125 that she's somehow laid claim to. These are played DI into the PA. No pedals for colouring.
I don't advertise myself as a guitarist anymore, and tend to shun any public guitar work. I still regularly practice at home though, but not as much as I used to. I get maybe a half hour a day.

I recently purchased this Ibanez Artcore Expressionist AF95FM. I decided to learn how to play "legit" and I'm working my way through Mel Bay.
I have an older Roland Cube 30X that it sounds pretty nice through, but I mostly play it acoustically.
I think I took up bass to get away from guitar. Anything I have for guitar is intended for other people, and it is VERY basic. I have an offshore Tele copy that almost nobody uses and a Roland Cube amp, to facilitate rehearsals. The Cube actually sounds pretty good.
Since joining my last band, if I play electric it's pretty much bass anymore. If it's guitar its primarily acoustic, I have an old Ibanez Exotic series cutaway (2005 Ash) and a Taylor 400 series I bought last year because the original electronics died in the Ibanez, actually the plastic dissolved around the control pots. I installed a Fishman unit but it never sounded the same. The Taylor is rosewood body, I must have played 50 guitars, new and used before I picked this one out.
My main players are... No 1 is a 2014 Epi ES-339 in natural, just love the neck and tone. No 2 would be the PRS Hollow Body (SE) sunburst, it weighs about 6 lbs., love it. I only live 45 minutes from the PRS factory so it's almost obligatory to support the local builder, plus Paul is such a cool guy. He played a lot of the local joints around here when he was a "kid" and shows up from time to time to do events for our local shop, Bay Tunes music.
I do still have my first "real" guitar, a 77' Strat sunburst, been re-fretted twice and looks like it's been through a war (I bought her in 78' for $500 in mint condition, that was a chunk of change in those days for a guitar). It still plays great.
I'm down to one gig-ready amp, a VOX AC15, about a 2018 or so in mint condition I picked up used. It's a tank, but sounds great. At some point I'll probably pick up another Blues Jr. it's about my favorite small amp.

I have 2 Ibanez, an RG560 and an RG7620 7-string. An old 80's Charvel Model 2. A baritone scale Shuriken Variax, a G&L Tribute ASAT, and an Agile 8-string.
I play all of them, and my basses, through my Helix and usually use my TC BG250 combo as a monitor. I have a few pedals I use as well, but the Helix covers 99% of anything I'd ever need. I love physical amps, but I can't afford all the different amps that I would like to have!

I have many basses, trombones, and keyboards, but only one guitar! It’s a Guild, dreadnaught style, with a mahogany body & neck and rosewood fretboard. I love it. It’s super dark looking and sounding, and has a great big loud sound. It was purchased with a gift certificate from my partner, who wanted to buy me a guitar but knew I’d want to choose it myself. I tried every acoustic guitar in my local independently owned guitar shop and this one sounded and played the best! Wow, that was one of the best gifts ever! I mostly play around on it around the house or around the occasional campfire. The closest thing to a gig with it was when I accompanied a violinist on some Irish tunes for my partner’s step-grandfathers funeral service in 2020.
