Which dream bass would you buy?

None of them are "my dream", so I wouldn't buy any of them.
They ARE all high quality basses though, so if they are ones you dug the look, sound, and feel of, you wouldn't be throwing away your money.

I voted for the MTD as I LOVED mine and you did not list Ken Lawrence. I prefer my KL Brase to anything else on the list.
Since I have that one and Alleva Coppolo LB and KPB 5's and the Lakland 5'er - I'm gassing for a Pentabuzz with 19mm spacing. Then I could get rid of my three fretless basses.

I wouldn't customize it in any way but I'd love to get hold an older 4 string Curbow like in the pic below.

Sorry but none on that list for me...its a Wal all the way! Maybe 3 of them...4 & 5 strings, and a fretless.

A USA Bolt-On Spector NS5-H2-EX with "upgraded" Spalted Maple top and Aguilar OBP-3SK/PP preamp... but with Nordstrand Big Single pickups as opposed to the standard EMG-40TWs, and perhaps SIMs LEDs underneath the Inlays so the Crowns light up when activated. But in general, something with a top like this:

+1. I haven't owned all of those on the list, obviously... but I have owned Lakland USA and Pedulla and an F-Bass BN5. They all had good points, and I certainly gave the BN5 up reluctantly (post-divorce). But as good as it sounded, it was a bit heavy and unweildy and somehow awkward.
I guess my tastes have become more pedestrian. I'm dreaming of an EBMM Big Al 5 three-pickup model in some color that it doesn't come in, like desert gold or lava pearl. That would be sweet!
Of basses that actually exist, I'd take the EBMM 25th Anniversary 5-string at Bass Central that's got a flame top, HSS pup configuration and an all-rosewood neck. #9 of only 25 made. I'd seriously start saving, but it'll be long gone I'm sure before I could ever afford it... if it's even still there (you never know with their website).
Meaning that it isn't a custom shop bass, but that you can do pups or stuff like that if you wish. I think...
A builder who will customize is usually considered a custom builder. I think that was what made this confusing.
