This. I thought this the first time i heard you play the Spector, and this video reinforces it. It just seems to mesh very well with you. I love that little Markbass 210 combo, but I think that bass is meant for your heart and hands.

I have that amp and gig it every weekend. Or used to before all the lockdownz. It's loud enough, lightweight and the wedge thing is very handy. I like the tone. I've never used the filters.

I have admit that covering is a mega lint magnet.

One option that would be cool with me would be to simply keep playing my Yamaha I got for $99 ($115 after taxes.) The EMG gives it great tone and the defret gives it useful lines that help even if you cannot see them on video. This was me playing at rehearsal today:

I've had 4 Markbass amps and lost 2 of them to failure, not a good record at all. I really liked how my LMIIs sounded but my first died after a few years. I loved my F1, no idea why I sold that! My second LMII was sold to a friend, and it died on him a couple of years later. I don't know what the situation is now, but back then I couldn't find anyone who would repair them.

I have a GK MB500 that I've owned for many years, keeps chugging along. It also sounds great through a bunch of different cabs.

I don't even know what a spectorcore is, but I have never heard anything from markbass that I have liked... but that spectorcore would be my choice.
