Who do you think would be good Superbowl Halftime performers?

I would love to see a Kendrick or Kanye show, with the Foo Fighters as a support. I'm not a huge FF fan, but they would certainly be a big enough group.

Looking through this list, I find an interesting disconnect where people want their favorite artists to do the halftime, even if they have a tiny following, and would put on a boring show (in that context). In a perfect world, I would love a show done by Run the Jewels, Vietcong, and Hot Chip, but that will never happen. I'd be interested in seeing what everyone would reasonably want in a halftime show

Wasn't there a petition out there to get Weird Al to play the superbowl? That would be freaking AMAZING!!! Family friendly and appeals to the masses!! Plus he can have the actual artist who he covers make surprise appearances.

Otherwise, not really sure who I would like to see. Maybe if the Gun & Roses reunion goes over well, that would be a good show (If Axl can refrain from getting his panties in a bunch).

How could I have forgotten this...
The "In Living Color" halftime show broadcast live during Stuporbowl XXVI's halfime show (1992). DO THIS AGAIN!!! I don't remember the game, or even who played, but I remember this.

For you young whippersnappers, here's some history.

Lets have milli vinnili play a song that they didnt play. Followed by mariah carry changing the words to a song she did not write ashley simpson can lip sinc along then justin timberlake can accidentally expose mariahs chest in a completeley unrehearsed moment or second thought Why don't they just put a computer on the stage and let it play music.
Pretty much the same as what they have been putting up.
