Funny thing is that I love jazz basses but hate jazz music.

My soulmate is probably someone who loves p basses but hates accuracy of any kind.

Honestly, I have yet to pick up anything from Fender that agreed with me. Some of the other Jazz builds are OK, but I've yet to find one that clicked the way my Ibanez SR's and ATK's have.

I love Jazz basses. I sold my MIA P bass after having a series/paralell switch installed on a pot because it sounds so good to me. Love my non export Areodyne because it has a nice Jazz neck too with a P pickup.
To each his own but I choose the Jazz bass because it gives me all I need.

This thread is only five pages long so far. A P-Bass or Ric troll thread would be at least seven pages long by now. Why? Because Jazz bass guitars are not as good, that's why. All you have to do is count pages and you will know.

We need to get back to work discussing P basses with flats and tort guards, the hazards of mixing speaker sizes and the best bass for metal.

Despite the countless threads on such subjects i'm certain we are very close to coming to universal agreement On such matters.
