Who's transcribing what right now?

Yeah I guess I should update that. I've finished the course except for recital. Spent a few semesters with Duncan Brown and most recently Mark Costa. Very worth spending some time with Duncan as soon as you can, and then Mark. In that order. I've had to defer halfway through this semester, but I'll be back in Sydney when I can.

Aw man, what drag - 'seems like I'm the old-fashioned slow-poke of the bunch:
Just sat on Wes Montgomery's "D Natural Blues", and before that it was another blues - Clifford Brown's "Sandu".

Nice to see there's another Bob Berg freak on here. I started transcribing the solo from "Friday Night..." at some point. "Snakes" seems like a real challenge. I love that album, and Bob's playing in general. "Enter The Spirit" is also a brilliant album. I actually walked up to James Genus at a Dave Weckl show a couple of days ago and thanked him in person for his playing on it....

Yea man!
Of course it is!

Anyway, I'm charting Pat Metheny's solo on "Slip Away" from the Album "Letter from Home"
GORGEOUS solo.

My summer transcription is "Episode D'azur" by Pat

Hi all,

Just as a matter of interest I thought it would be fun to see what everyone is working on right now.

I've just started transcribing Paul Chamber's walking line on "Oleo" from the Miles Davis album "Relaxin' With the Miles Davis Quintet".

Let's see what we're all up to.

All the best,

Steve

"Maybe It'll Rub Off" by Tower of Power. Haven't seen that one done yet so thought I would give it whirl.

Just the bass line.

Is there a place on TalkBass to post the finished products? I know there is a TAB forum (dont get me started), but do folks post their transcriptions in here as well?
