I'll be honest I have never played a really high end warwick, but the ones I have played, a few thumb BOs, a corvette $$ and I think a streamer (im not a warwick expert) just didn't impress me. The first time I played a Warwick, a lower end model of some kind, I really thought the brand was a cheap-o brand. NO offense, but the think looked and felt like a high school shop project made out of really expensve wood. I saw the price tag and almost pissed myself. Now the Corvette $$ that I played was used, and came the closest to impressing me. It was much better built than any I had played up until then, but still just had an overall cheap feel to it. I guess its the way they are built, and I know that natural vibe is what Warwick lovers dig, but it just wasn't for me. My Elrick's body is unpainted natural wood too, but it has a polished, finished feel to it that Warwicks seem to lack.
If you love em, don't worry about us who don't. That leaves more of them for you guys.
