Clearwave said:People like Ampeg because of the same reason they like Fender, Gibson or Marshall. They are classic. They came from an era when rock ruled the world. Rock stars got the chicks , fans paid them for their music and old people hated it. As time marched on, we figured out better ways to make guitars and amps. But they sounded different than the old records the defined the sound of rock.
I like ampeg amps. I have some of the old ones in my garage right now. They still make versions of the old ones that made them famous and they make modern stuff that is on par with everybody else.
Nobody likes Coors lite do they?

Ampeg has a really cool logo. "A" is a positive, happy letter. Like Fonzie sez....."AAAAAAAAA".
American Beer is like @#%&ing in a canoe; Too d%@# close to water!
They do when its free
I'm a fan of really deep tone that maintains highs. Ampeg doesn't do that for me.
