Why does fender put the logo in the wrong place on Vintera 50s Precision?

Was gonna defend OP til he got into telling us he’s so highly paid and actually doesn’t care about others’ opinions.

In that case don’t be wasting your time posting to plebs on bass forums. Dude.

This. Nobody ever cared about it being that precise (no pun intended) until collectors came along and decided that one example must be the Holy Grail that all others were subsequently meant to imitate.

I think a very good solution for this problem of "incorrect" placement is to stop looking at logos and headstocks on these, as you're bound to stress yourself out even more when you see the myriad ways in which these things might be slightly off from your imagined ideal. It's a good idea not to deliberately do things that create stress and anxiety.
Music seems to have the opposite effect on collectors. Instead of the sense of fulfillment that the rest of us get, they seem to be rewarded with stress and anxiety. When we pick up an instrument, we feel complete. When a collector does, they feel whatever the instrument isn't.

Maybe if someone asked Fender why they put the logo where they did, their response (if they even bothered to make one) would be the same as mine would be. "I/we made it, so I/we will put the logo wherever we damn well please."
Ah, except it’s not an original, new fender design , it’s a remake of a 50s Prescision and thus should match it as closely as possible. Is that a concept you’re able to comprehend?

Dude, really....at this point, folks here are just trying to trigger you for more entertainment at your expense.

Right or wrong, it's what's happening. Maybe a trip to Fullerton for the Fender Historians' Consortium (or whatever it is) would help you on this journey. You are just.....:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:...aound here at this point.

I've had my fun here. I wish you well.

The necks at least, are made in Mexico. I’m guessing their decal placement template places it closer to the edge. Anyways, if you’re obsessing over a few mm’s of decal placement for originality but skipping over point of origin, you just want to troll.
