fatfreddy. hard to be punctual when you are responding to a bunch of people. thanks for the fantastic input though.
I didn't say that you had to be punctual....:roflmao:....

Never mind....

I also buy basses so that they don't fall into the hands of grumpy people.....

Basses don't like being played by grumpy people, no matter how good they perceive themselves to be....

No need to thank me for my input again...

I'll just take it as read....

Kissy, kissy.....:p

nonstatic. wrong i would post on a hipster site with no problem if i believed in what i am saying.
Dissing people in the complete anonymity of a forum is one thing.
Walking into a roomful of hipsters, or mediocre multi-bass owners and spewing your opinion about their lifestyle is a whole other matter ain't it?

That's the first time I've ever read that on an internet forum!

Oops, sorry wasn' t for purpose! :D

I could not find the "like" button for your bikes

nostatic. you know nothing about me pal. or what i would or would not do.
Ok.... Im really trying here lol.
When you wish to respond to somebody.... click the reply button that is in the bottom right corner of the box of the words that you are replying to.
Then write your own reply under it...... and hit "post reply".

Once again.... every time somebody responds... their response is framed at top and bottom by two thick blue bars....... on the far right is a little curved arrow and the word "reply". Click that..... then type YOUR response beneath it.... then hit the GOLD button.... on the bottom right.. (far left button of the 3).

Dogbertday. i have responded to that 4 times. one or 2 basses to get to know very well. and break in.

Im sorry, i just dont understand...

What happens to me if I own 3 basses?
Is this like at soundcheck, when the good soundmen say "check one two", and the soundmen who suck say "check one two three?"

Wait, I thought one was all you needed?
So other guys are thinking, you only need 2 or 20 basses & have no plans to become good or great players, or they gave up that dream a long time ago.
I'll never be great or even good (don't have the ears for it), but I like owning instruments & playing them for my personal pleasure.
How many I own is frankly none of anyone else's business, as long as I am pulling my weight & supporting my family.

Well stated, Agreed !

packing up for the gig...thought i'd return to the thread for the 'happy ending'...to no avail...:D

You wouldn't walk into a room full of dudes wearing man buns & skinny jeans & proclaim loudly that you hate hipsters, would you?
:roflmao:
You wouldn't walk into a room full of guys wearing man buns & skinny jeans & announce loudly that you have a strong disdain for hipsters who are clearly compensating for something, would you?
:roflmao::laugh:
are hipster forums a thing?
:roflmao::laugh::roflmao: haven't you heard of talkhip? "i only play instruments which are still in development."

Lefty4string , you are a very funny guy. if you're not a guy: you're still funny!
