Just took a look.....Top one too big....bottom one too small....I LOVE the bass clef style f holes. That Sawblade Rudy Sarzo acoustic displays the bass clef f hole so well!!!
....Like the way they've been cut though....Very nice.....

personally I don't like bass clef sound holes, just seems kind of cliche having it on a bass. It sounds like I'm in the minority in that thought though.

I think that with the ovals having such a big visual impact, the sound hole should be slick and understated. Maybe a crescent flowing with the body lines on the bass string side of the upper or lower bout. The other thoughts I have is maybe (if you have one) your logo cut into the top on the upper bout, or even text in the area between the pickups and where the bass string side of the body meets the neck, though I know it would be difficult to do that without a CnC machine...

So you'd be like the architect of bass building? Create a crazy design, have the client fall in love with it and let the engineers (luthiers) figure out how to make it work...sound like fun!
I like the script. I'm thinking I now have to buy a CNC and a laser. 
Do you have a simple logo that would work? I recently finished a hollowbody tele and when I couldnt decide on a sound hole shape I decided to use my logo. I flipped it around backwards to fit the shape but I'm happy how it turned out.
