Me too. Minority, but an important minority.personally I don't like bass clef sound holes, just seems kind of cliche having it on a bass. It sounds like I'm in the minority in that thought though.

And like I'd go broke very quickly.....So you'd be like the architect of bass building? Create a crazy design, have the client fall in love with it and let the engineers (luthiers) figure out how to make it work...sound like fun!


If you put the bottom "moon" over the bridge pup....How about sound holes that accent the ovals. Something like this:
