Winter Build off - Mash Up - Get Ready

I like this as well, especially the bevels.

Maybe you might want to space your pups out a bit. As they are, I think you'll get 3 shades of dark, and very little bridge pup sound.
The middle pup could be half in/half out of the pickgaurd JMHO

I had the same thought (about the bevel & PU placement). It might be Cool if there were two PUs between the bridge and pg and one tucked under the neck. It would give the option of a really punchy bridge pu, or a more mellow bridge option to blend with the dark neck PU.

Lol I haven't even finalized on the number (or type) of pickups and I'm getting lots of advice. Maybe I'll just go this route

excellent! And a comment on the number of pups, Three is great but for some reason I like two. Wow whatever thats worth.

What wood pile are you going to use? If I may ask...
All seriousness aside... I'm leaning towards 2 TBird pickups in nickel in the classic TBird arrangement. As for wood, I'm leaning towards a maple neck-thru with poplar wings. I'm thinking that this will be painted with something that highlights the bevel. I have another design that I'll be doing that is also beveled; that one is going to be a hippie sandwich :D

So what can we do before the start of the competition? Just get the wood to S4S and ripped to rough size? What about hardware or electronics?

S4Sing the wood is ok. Purchasing hardware is ok.
Modifying hardware and building harnesses etc is not OK
