That BXP T40 Peavey is a good idea. It would be even better if the make it a five and it is under ten pounds.

This guy, Justin Sagun, is the preamp designer for Elegee and an awesome dude. He came up and asked me where I got my Passinwind Electronics shirt and I told him it's a trade secret. He looked at me funny, did a double take, and said "oh, it's you!" He's a TB'er and told me he's read through pretty much all my DIY electronics threads here. Both his preamps and the basses themselves sounded really good too.
