I think you’re right.
I hear Fodera didn’t have a booth either this year.

There's a substantial booth splitting fee if you want both entities listed in the directory, and these days some luthiers just do a booth at one of all of the bass bashes and call it good. So "having a booth" doesn't necessarily mean no show involvement.

Makes sense! I can see this show not being cheap, that’s for sure.
There’s pictures on scubaduba’s thread showing some members of Fodera.
Victor Wooten was their playing his Fodera too of course.

Just realised I haven't replied to either of the NAMM threads with an expression of gratitude for all the hard work. This is especially important as I'm in the Antipodes and would never even get to see some of these items otherwise.

Word. I had occasion to hang out a bit with both of the primary photographers in these threads. Just doing all that work in an empty hall would be daunting enough, but imagine having to wade through 100,000+ people to make it happen.

Yeah, I thought so, too. I was talking to someone about it, wondering if it was a good idea or a gimmick. I thought the better idea would be to have that whole thing flipped, so that you have both a regular P and a reverse P.

I used to see him post videos on FB a lot, and he was always fun to watch--just seemed to be having a blast!--but he hasn't come up in my feed much lately. Check him out if you haven't seen him play before, though...

I'll definitely keep an eye out for him next year.

Did you get a photo of the back of the white fretless Ritter with no tuning keys??

I guess GK were no a show?? I thought the timing would be perfect for their newly announced Fusion S series, which I am gassing for.

Great to see all the innovation. Just wish there were more lefties from Ibanez and everyone else.

I did not dare to touch any of the Ritters, so only front faced shots.

You are correct, GK did not have a booth, but they did have a lot of players there. @TonyP- might be able to fill you in on their plans.

May I ask what they use the laser engraver for at G&L? just curious, I run 4 machines similar to that one.

Did you have a second to check out the Marco PB&J thing? I don't think he's done it yet, but it appears that his format would allow standard P, reverse P, and standard Jazz neck pickup all switch selectable.
