Here's some okay-ish video of the band I'm in at the Manitowoc Salmon derby on June 30th. Mistakes aside, I wish you guys could've seen the crowd from my perspective. One of the best I've ever seen.

Hey guys been awhile but nothing astounding musically to really report on.

So here is the short take, two surgeries, 40 Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Sessions, two gigs and one studio session since April 1st. Surgery kicked my butt too.

Musicians income $750.00 for a 2012 net of 750.00.

Uninsured healthcare charges from above mentioned surgery, $42,375.00.

Just getting back to fighting weight but this present economy does present more hurdles when trying to keep ones head above water.

I feel for ya man. After my surgery they charged me over $13,000 to stay in a room for 6 hours while I recovered. Over $3000 for the MRI , and another $3000 for the anesthesia. That doesn't even include the surgery and many Dr. visits. I have a high deductible insurance so I owe a couple thousand out of pocket. I called the billing department and told them that I'd be making small monthly payment for the 1st couple months until I get back on my feet a little and they said that I had to pay the bill off in one year and to do that I'd have to pay about $175.00 a month. I just can't do that right now. All they want is their money - they don't care that if I paid the amount they want me to that they'd be taking food out of my kids mouths. They have no concience whatsoever - It's all about GREED!!!

Word. I'm with ya!

Want to fix the economy.....provide national health care and destroy the insurance providers! Sorry if any of you work in the health insurance business, but health insurance coverage is what is screwing us all, whether you have any coverage or not! Being alive and/or healthy enough to earn a living should not depend on your income. Eating lobster instead of hot dogs or driving a Lexus instead of an old ice cream truck riding on a donut is a different story. That can be earned. But having to chose between having good teeth, or eyes or hearing is also health care.....and not an option plan either!

Sorry I can get a tad excited about this topic!
