I've avoided the Sire hype for a few years now, but I picked one up to try out at Guitar Center and was blown away. It was a 5-string though, and they don't like me, so I ordered this one from Sweetwater. Fit-n-finish is fantastic, sound is KILLER, neck is amazing, and price is under 1K. What the heck is not to like!

This one has no discernable neck dive and isn't very heavy.

Not that I don't enjoy the experience of getting the bag of candy, and not even that I don't like the taste of the candy, but I almost never actually eat it, just because I try to eat less candy. Maybe I should leave a note on the web form to not include it and give it to the next order after me.

Well... I could say that "what's not to like" is:
- It's a Jazz Bass shaped object - and they don't like me. And,
- It's wrong handed - for me...
But, I won't say that. I'll just congratulate you on getting a new bass, that I'm sure you'll like very much. I was looking at a different Sire model (a P5), recently; but, sadly... no lefty's available from anybody at the time. Then, I was distracted by a very clean, left handed '90s Tokai T48TB Thunderbird; alas! There will be no Sire's for me in the foreseeable future...

That's awesome. And bass is nice too... that grain is killer. I just got a V5 a few weeks ago and am very impressed.
