As much as I love D’Addario, my strings are fine right now, especially my Chromes.
I saw the announcement and I got everything I need and even picked up a set for my olde Ovation but I got distracted. Do I have to wait all year?
Interesting, This is the 3rd neck change on the Geddy Lee body I have (Actually 4th but the first neck was fretless ) After removing the DR Fat Beams the 13th time (since I adjust and shim and fret level, the sA string finally gave and unravelled. I have a set of D"Addario on the side pocket of my truck NYXL which I am not a fan of on the 6 string but may work well with this passive Jazz. I got a bacchus neck here that had a bad headstock paint job but ticks all my preferences, Ebony, precision neck and 21 frets (with overhang)

My buddy that is a professional musician came home two weeks ago and tried all of my 5 basses and told me not to change anything including the strings so it won’t happen here !
