Worship Bass Pedalboards

I'm curious - just because of the vastly different setups (some guys are all clean, some boards have a lot of dirt):

What would you say the songs you commonly play in rotation are? I'm curious to see what kind of songs you're playing in relation to rig.

I'll go first:
- Gone - Elevation Worship
- Champion - Bethel Music
- Glorious Day - Passion, Stanfil
- The Blessing - Elevation Worship
- Available - Elevation Worship
- Goodness of God - Bethel Music

I'd say I lie in the middle of the "dirt" spectrum. It's not "metal" crazy or "distortion", but it is overdriven. My tone is always the same, and the Tone Hammer AGS circuit lets my soft finger style be low and fat for quieter parts. Otherwise, it's a pick with a lot of saturation/overdrive. Really getting that attack and "thwack" from the pick and some good saturation be punchy in the higher mids. MicroSynth for extra low end and fuzz-style distortion for exceptionally huge moments.

I guess I forgot the REDDI isn't passive. So probably not a big deal to worry about going power-supply-less.

yeah that seems like overkill to me too. I even went from a CS6 to a Iso brick mini just because I didn't need all that size.

With the REDDI in the equation it doesn't really matter anyways, you're gonna have to use two power plugs.

OR- get a headstock tuner (ik ik, then you don't have a nice mute, but isn't that what the volume knob is for? :p ) and then you only have to run your audio lines. Super clean! :D

Nah, for me a muting tuner is an essential as, using only active basses I unplug them between rehearsal and service or between sets!

The thread is self-policing for the most part. It's allowed a little bit of latitude that might not be given in other places on TB, which if the self-policing is adequate I think is fair. Seems like this sort of thing mostly happens when someone complains.

We're pretty good about self policing but sometimes things get emotional so....

anyway, tithe REDDI sounded awesome again this week, all by itself. My little hum issue was annoying though. Have to try another rolls or cable and see what's up. At least it isn't "me/my bass rig" as no one else heard anything and it wasn't in FOH.

What is the function/duties of a mod? Like, whenever you see something offensive or something, you have to take it down?

Due to the loss of a job, overwhelming CCard debt, and a self realization that I am an Alcoholic (almost costing me my marriage), I am down to one pedal, my bass, and my powered monitor. On the plus side, I am in a 12-step, I have an amazing sponsor, I have been offered a well paying position in an industry I am passionate about, and my marriage is on the mend. All by the grace of our Lord and Savior.
About the pedal; I traded for a TC SpectraDrive, knowing that I needed a compressor and some grit. I played for the first time in a long while at church this morning, and had a really nice tone going. The comp and the grit are always on, and I'm using a clip on tuner so it is really all I need.
To be honest, all of this has been such a blessing, as I am closer to Jesus than I've ever been. And I am trusting his will for my life! God Bless you all and thanks for reading!
