It's done...for now...

So I have it together. The DC5 is just slightly taller than the DC7. It just sits on the floor. Looking at the feet on the Nano, it doesn't look like I can unscrew them and put an extra washer under them.

Suggestions?

Through a combination of an awl and some drilling I just chopped those puppies off.

Then I used these collapsing rivets with a riveting tool to make new threads for the higher, raised feed that I was adding.

Downside: some tiny pieces of metal went into the frame, so now my pedalboard "plinks" when I'm moving it.

But I have more clearance underneath, works great otherwise.

So it all fits in the case. I was hoping the power cables would sit under but the compressor knobs are too high. The power cables seem to lay nicely on the tuner/Rolls side so this should work.

I'll give it a try and see how it goes. A quick test of the compressor via my amp at home sounded great. I used scuba's settings from his latest pic for starters. Sounded good to me.

Curious why you are running botht he NuX and Messenger? Is it just for the IR loading?
I run the NuX >>>Messenger. Use the messenger to give me another tonal option if needed.
NuX is a great pedal. Within the NuX, I use the Aguilar Amp with the Aguilar 810 IR. The EQ on the NuX is very musical and well designed.

It's maybe not the most practical/versatile drive/fuzz whatever, but I have it set very subtly and you can keep some dry signal. I suppose the Geddy Lee pedal I had would maybe be a better choice, but I have this and it fits the boards. I'll probably use it with the cover band more often.
