The second service with the Stomp went well. I didn't have any complaints with the compressor, but I may leave it off. I also decided that I spent enough time trying the amp/cab sims and I'm going to set that aside for a while. I don't HAVE to use all the features on the Stomp. There are more than enough drives, fuzzes, octaves, choruses, etc to make the purchase (trade) worth it. The way I see it, I had a nice analog compressor and a bigger board. But, I decided to leave the comp off. So, I should approach the Stomp the same way. Only using stuff that I need. I've owned a few compressor pedals, but none of them were purchased because I *needed* one.
I'm also not as familiar with them as other pedals. So, until I have a more thorough knowledge of compression, or unless a need arises, I'm going to skip using a compressor for a while.
