Worship Bass Pedalboards

Fighting the urge to sell all my effects pedals and just run this always on set and forget. Sounds so good.

I'm on drums this Sunday, so I won't have a chance to try the Luce again. But, at home, and based on last service, I'm really impressed with it. I have My Lightspeed always on with very slight drive. But, I really like it as my main drive. So, I'm kind of torn. I guess I'm going down another rabbit hole. I'm going to try the Science Mother for slight drive and EQ with the LS getting main drive duties. OR....wouldn't it be nice if I could use the Mother for low gain AND higher gain drive? We'll see.
We are starting to talk about more songs, and I think the BMS or R1 or Kaamos would be a good fit. That puts me too big for a small board and too small for a big board. I guess I'll have to deal with looking at empty board space...bleh.

I was a bit hesitant about getting the keyboard synth too. But, I play it A LOT and I'm glad I went for it. The team and staff love it. It's certainly a big expense, so I don't always recommend it. But, if you can swing it, you'll love it.
As far as playing, most of the time I have a pick in my hand and I use one or two fingers on the Moog. (I love looking at the pianist and showing him my 'technique') There aren't a lot of runs and complex lines.
For programming, the manual for the Sub Phatty is one of the best manuals I've seen to get you started. It was very clear and helpful.

Reading the recent posts... the Moog Messenger is intriguing. Would I want to lug a synth... along with my wireless rack, bassboard, pedalboard, and bass? Heck yeah!!! My weakness with tech and gadgets would love this so much. However, I've been obsessed with BMX biking, going rides with my youngest, and spending time with family lately. I've been blocking 1 to 2 Sunday's a month on PCO... going on rides, and spending more time with my kids while they are still in college living at home. I have this Sunday blocked for a weekend family trip to Disneyland. Someday... I'll get that synth... hahaha... I gotta stop coming to this forum. I have the funds, sooo it's really tempting to get it sooner than I should... 😂
