Oh they know. lol. Was looking at YT demos last week and decided to try it.@projectapollo and @wolffire99 are influencers but they don’t realize it.

I’m back in studio after 15 years, sporting this pedalboard.
All of you are influencers and enablers in his thread...
I play at a church once a month, where most of the musicians are paid... and not members at the church. I met the team for this Sunday last night, and we were looking each others gear. The hired sound-engineer is also a pro bassist, and all these guys are telling me that they can hook me up with gear. The sound-engineer was trying to convince me to play his active bass, since I mentioned I'm using a passive. Talk about influencers... LOL. I told them, "I'm Done!!!"... for now... haha However, he is sponsored by Eich... Since he seen my DIY Bassboard, he said he could get a deal for me on a Eich Bassboard. Tempting... but my DIY has more than enough feedback and very immersive. I'm sure the Eich will still be expensive even with a discount.
Anyway... it was fun playing with these guys last night. It was supposed to be rehearsals... but it was more of a jam session... All the songs all had a different feel and sound than the recordings... haha... There was some family issues with one of the lead singers... which involved the police outside... so we just ran through the songs really quick with a few singers. I'm sure the songs will be toned down and similar to the recordings this Sunday.
The more I use the P16 PowerPlay at this church, I'm very tempted to buy one to use at home and my home church. Comparing it to a mixbus output, the P16 HQ sounds soooo much better... especially since I can EQ and Pan each channel.... hmmmmm...

I decided to switch from my vintage fretless P back to my Yamaha 6, and swapped my rounds on the 6 to T1 jazz flats. Had to changed all my pedal settings to compensate.
Leading on bass this week. Pray for me, it’s so hard have the 385 running always on for this set and sounds amazing in the PA and ears.

Do you have duplicates of the TH and Mantle for your two monos (lite+ and small) or do you swap them about depending on mood?
Dual lock allows for pretty fast swapping. I pick the pedals based on the church and song set. This week was straight forward, no big moment devices required. I prefer to show up at the two smaller churches I sometimes help out at with a modest board.
Not usually always on, I had intended to just use it on day of victory, but I left it on and it sounded great. With the gain below 11 o’clock it can pull off an AGS always on type of thing, although different. Less compressed, little more grindy.
Passed noon it will get heavy enough to pull off micro synth with octave going into it. Which is what I usually do with the second stage. Bump up the gain just before a big moment with a sub octave.
I don’t use the 385’s fuzz mode, it’s too much.
Generally I’ve found dual lock allows for
15 minutes of struggle, a blister and me going I should use normal Velcro
