I was hoping the "Saving the World" by Clay Crosse was licensed by CCLI. That would be a great intro song for Easter. We added "By His Wounds", "Wonderul Cross", and "Kingdom of God" for Easter.
Lyric sheets work sell. We recently upgraded our video system. The Main screen on stage is huge. We also added a screen in the rear of the sanctuary for the band to use. So now we can get away from stands all together.
Most services I can play without any music, but I like to have it front of me just in case. Although I am rarely close enough to my stand to read it. I walk all over the place when I am playing, me and the drummer have our own built up stage that is behind everyone else. I have a spot about 8 feet wide by 15-18 feet long that I walk all over. I'll even turn around and face the wall when I am playing from time to time.

We have rehearsals like that occasionally. It is usually caused either by starting the rehearsal too late, or trying to learn too many new songs in a rehearsal. We do a 30 minute, once a week. IMHO, one new song is the limit if you are having a 30 minute rehearsal.
