I decided that this was the best advice and course of action. I accepted the delivery of the speakers, but I will not open the boxes, and I will not attempt to re-sell them until the matter is clearly decided between all parties. Worst case scenario, AMS demands full price--in which case I just say "send me a UPS call tag and the speakers will go back to you." I'm not out a penny, and they get their speakers back.
Oh, and Paypal CS emailed me back to say that they
will only deduct the amount I authorized.
