hey. I'm curious if someone could measure the neck thickness at the first fret and the 12th fret of an Attitude LTD (doesn't matter if it's I, II, or III). I want to see how it compares to a Warmoth neck. I want that huge, thick tele style baseball chunk of wood that is on the Attitude/old Telecaster basses.
I have scientific calipers I could bring home from work, but crude measurement is almost exactly an inch. It's 2 1/4" wide. I'm getting rid of mine because it feels like playing a 2 x 4.
that would be great if you could use the calipers. also, I see you have a second gen Tele bass. could you measure that, as well? thickness as well as width on both the Tele bass and the Attitude at the 1st and 12th frets please. thank you very much, and that is a pretty damn sweet collection of basses! that fretless Ernie Ball is gorgeous!
That thick Attitude neck is great to practice for hours, cause it constantly tests my left hand finger dexterity and flexibility, so when I switch to a thinner neck profile on one of my other basses it's like effortless playability afterward. I love my Attitude so far, I can't wait to use it live some time.
Yeah you make some simple mistakes that you wouldn't have on a thinner neck at first, here and there but man...when this thing is fired up in a loud drummer, two guitar stacks situation, it just cuts through like a knife with that P pup with a massive sound backing it up in that woofer pup.
so...since Gojiras has been temporarily banned.....any chance another Attitude owner can tell me what the specs on their Attitude are?
I own Blue early Attitude and simply love it . Not sure what year. Was bought on ebay few years back.. I run thru a SVP-PRO for neck PU and SVP-BSP for P PU. Also run Ashley compression. From there run thru Crown power and a 8 x 10 cab wired for (2) separate cabs in one. 32 ohm at 4 speakers for 8 ohm. Awesome sound and awesome bass and less bottoms to move and still able to use stereo . I've had to replace input jacks on bass but seems to be pretty bullet proof. Want more basses though.. Sea foam next
So... I just got my new Ltd II via ebay. And while I got a good price (happy there) there's some extra dings and a busted pushbutton pot (not so happy). Not sure what I should try to get out of the guy, since there wasn't full disclosure here, but I am wondering where the heck I can get a replacement pot! It's the stereo/mono switch, which works when you hold it down, but isn't latching. Any ideas?
I replaced mine with a normal 500K pot.
I never used the bass with both pups out one 1/4 jack.. dont like the blend tone at all..
you can also get a push/pull pot which does the same thing...
the push button pots feel kinda cheap to me.

I wouldn't mind so much if it were stuck in split output mode instead of mixed output mode 
I thought about a push-pull jack, and may resort to that. For now though, I just want the bass to work like a stock one, but I've never seen pushbutton pots like that in all my years

if you REALLY want one I will pull one from my bass and swap it out with a push pull.. but only if you REALLY have to have one..
