I am looking for an Attitude Limited or Limited II. I have lots of trade bait, Old G&L L1000s, L2000s and an '88 Lynx, Landscape Hollowbody, GK 1001RB-II, etc. If anyone has one that they'd like to work out a trade deal.
Middle of the road model from the first generation. Not the real deal. It has J bass neck dims & the thin plastic nut.
Made in taiwan
Body: Alder
Neck: All maple
No. of frets: 22
Pickups: Dimarzio Model P+J
Controls: 3-way Pickup selector, Tone knob
Thanks a lotHow did you get the info?
Also eh.. anyone have any thoughts on this baby?
Just want to say hello, as a Yamaha Attitude Special owner! (navybass'?)
Are the LTDs "all that"?
What do you guys do with the scallops?

Haha I should be going over to the dealer's house to try it out, cus fretless is my thing (though its more suited for rock o.o). But anyway er defect aside, how does this sound relative to the others in the series and other basses as a whole?
(sorry, thread hijack)
Bob hit the nail on the head Josh...Listen to Billy's bass on the outro of Mr Big doing a cover of Free's Mr. BigJust want to say hello, as a Yamaha Attitude Special owner! (navybass'?)

I have a Yamaha Attitude Standard 5 blue 5-string bass that looks like it's done in the same series as )):'s bass, same headstock and logos, made in taiwan, serial number HH03219, 2 pickups (P neck, J bridge) 3-position switch...
Asking to the connoisseurs of Attitude: do you know (approximately) when my bass is made?
!
HaHa!! Funny you say that because the 1st time i took mine to rehearsal my guitarist instantly says "cool bass, let's play addicted to that rush!" and proceeds to whip out the intro. I looked at him and said ARE YOU NUTS??? I cant play that!!!! we played in a funk band too...go figureI once tried this beast at a yamaha store, and I have to say that other than this Musicman stingray I used own, its the best bass Ive played. Playability and sound-wise.
Though, I would be really self-conscious of playing onstage. Ive got insecurity issues about people expecting me to shred my bass at 500bpm when they see an attitude. : p
