Morning guys,
I just bought a Yamaha Attitude II in seafoam green.

Just wondering about the differences between this model and the Ltd version of it.

Maybe you give me some hints? Thanks.

Oh yeah:
first and foremost...
welcome to tha club

I got two second version of this one ('09 mr. big world reunion tour "lavared" and all black)
But they're the very same: consider front dimarzio in black, just like the will power split, and small yamaha "bb series" logo with billy's signature on the headstock
Now there's the ATT III out with sonic blue and black finish, a new yash proprietary dualcoil instead of front dimarzio willpower, same dimarzio split, a metal plate hosting dual output, a regular "trb series" bridge and a 45° angled neck bolting on the back of the bass (like on chickenfoot's Michael Anthony signature BB 2024)

Original attitude bass was in blue metallic and violet metallic, with unmatched fretmarkers (violet on the blue one and blue on the violet one) same "pickguard wise" front humbucker (which was a dimarzio model one, white just like the pickguard: non pearloid) coupled to a dimarzio model p in the split position (the will power series - "will" stands for william, so "billy" - emerged on the attitude II just like yours) stainless steel hardware, and regular early '90s yamaha bolting on neck socket (perpendicular pair of bolts on the edge and angled pair of bolts deep into the body with an invisible inner metal box reinforcing neck joint)

Controls were three just like on yours and mine, but with this difference: front volume (same) front tone (same but with no "pull" high cut filter... there was a switch right aside front volume on original attitude) back volume (same with the pull "both pickups in second output only" option)

Hey folks... clearing out a few basses on ebay (I know, I know) to buy more toys for the new baby :) Among them is my seafoam LTD II. I'm not sure what the policy is on posting ebay links, so I'll refrain, but I thought I'd give you the heads-up that there's one on there for about 6 more hours, in case you're looking. I'm sure you can find it if so. Sadly, this means I might be leaving the club for at least a while, but it's been a blast. Cheers!

Most ABY switcher pedals will combine 2 signals into one, if you want. This only makes sense if you are planning to use different signal paths for the separate pickups, e.g. different effects and EQ per pickup, before sending it into a mono amp.

I've seen your way, and were planning on doing it this way, but the problem for mo would be to get a clean sound using both pickups. If I understood it right the pickup turns of when you "turn off" the distortion with the multidrive. And if you turns off the whole pedal the woofer signal gets turned off. Or have I misunderstood?

My plan is to do it a bit like Billy is doing, but without the need for using 2 separate amps

Hmm.. does the thing that I do at 4:55 answer your question? :)
(I.e. run the bass in stereo when bypassing the drive loop)

Hi fellow attituders and fans of this beautiful bass ! I have a question for you. I would like to change the bridge on my 10th anniversary as I don't really like the spacing . Are there any compatible (without drilling new holes) bridges with smaller or adjustable spacing ? Do I have to change the nut too ? Will it work well ? Any advice is appreciated

As I understand it this is the control layout of the Attitude LTD II and III but experienced Attitude users feel free to correct me (I don't have an Attitude bass just yet but I do have one "out for delivery")

Pot closest to neck: Woofer p-up volume
Middle pot: woofer p-up tone....push for high cut, pull for full range
Pot closest to bridge: Precision pickup volume....push for 1 pickup to each output, pull for stereo
Output closest to pots: Woofer out
Output closest to bridge: Precision out

So pull the pot closest to the bridge up and I believe both pickups go to both outputs so you can use the one of your choice but I see most people seem to plug into the precision out when in stereo mode. Again, anyone feel free to correct me but that's my inexperienced understanding of it.
