I had this Hadean 24" scale bass uke modified by Eric' Guitar Shop and painted by Pat Wilkins, both in Van Nuys, CA just minutes away from each other. Both did an excellent job. Eric recently replaced the standard bass uke wood bridge with a fully adjustable all metal bridge I found on eBay. It has Gold Tone/La Bella MBLS 25" flatwounds.

I've read an article about the fact that brightly colored cars don't sell well the last decades.
So it appears that buyers became more conservative about their appearance.

Maybe the same counts for guitars / basses.

My yellow bodied bass from the '90's (korina body).
The color is similar to the Korina Explorer bass.

Ya, if it's going to be yellow, it's got to be a bright, bold and strong yellow that really jumps out and bites you, not some delicate, pale flower color.

I looked at some body painting images and found VERY good examples!!!

Unfortunately, Stryper ROO-WIND yellow for me.... forever. Every time I see a yellow guitar or bass my brain goes to Stryper. And I want to rip my brain out by the roots with my own hands.

I will never be able to un-Stryper yellow guitars and basses.
