Yellow

Yellow basses are rare but at the same time it probably is one of the most used colors to paint basses :

I had this Hadean 24" scale bass uke modified by Eric' Guitar Shop and painted by Pat Wilkins, both in Van Nuys, CA just minutes away from each other. Both did an excellent job. Eric recently replaced the standard bass uke wood bridge with a fully adjustable all metal bridge I found on eBay. It has Gold Tone/La Bella MBLS 25" flatwounds.

I've read an article about the fact that brightly colored cars don't sell well the last decades.
So it appears that buyers became more conservative about their appearance.

Maybe the same counts for guitars / basses.

My yellow bodied bass from the '90's (korina body).
The color is similar to the Korina Explorer bass.
