Yellow

What’s the deal with yellow? I’ve found only a very small number of yellow basses for sale. Is there something inherently wrong with it (like horrible in stage lighting), or just lack of demand? I’m not talking about “mustard”, sort’a like yellow, or even sunburst tri-tones, but actual yellow basses.

I can't answer your question about why they are rare, but here's one for ya:

Seems like the main options for anything new are limited to MM and G&L. There’s a few Sterlings as well, but they’re “butterscotch”, not true yellow. Leaning towards the SB-1, but a 4H MM with black hardware looks killer.

Both readily available.
Nice to know.
