you ever lick your fingers while playing?

A thin film of Gorilla glue on your fingers is slick as 10 and really works. Well dried of course. You will pump out 16ths like Prestia or Entwistle without even trying. If this sounds wierd, repeatedly licking my fingers or picking my nose sounds worse.

Nose grease is NOT picking your nose, it comes from the outside of your nose skin, not inside the nostrils.

I don't like glue too much, although if I have a blister, separated finger nail, or hangnail I will use super glue to close up the wound and play. I don't like it though. I also really disliked Finger Ease when I tried it a number of years ago, but just goes to show different stroke for different folks. If it's good to you, it's good for you! Always go with whatever works (for you).

Nose grease rocks!! If I ever find my picking fingers getting to grabby on the strings I rub them on my nose. It works great. I got that tip from a book about Jaco Pastorius that I read many years ago. He was also fond of eating greasey chicken with his fingers before playing.
