Your best 5 pedals.

In no particular order:
1. Southampton Fifth Gear
2. BlowerBox -clone (I may have to get the real one!)
3. OC-2
4. tuner (sorry, I have to be that guy)
5. fDeck -clone

Coming up: Volume pedal! Not a necessity yet, but getting there!
I also think LS-2 is ridiculously useful pedal, but I also learned that I don't like blending wet with completely dry signal. I have to try it again with Fifth Gear in front of it, though.

Boss LMB 3 used as a peak limiter
Boss OC 3 polyphonic mode only
Butler Blue Tube used "clean"
HAO Sole Pressure, for a hint of OD
Roger Mayer Voodoo bass for MORE OD

I don't count the tuner

How are you using the Great Divide?
Typically I use it more on guitar than bass, for a nice Jack White sorta sound (yes I know he uses a Pog)
Currently I'm using it on bass with "clean" just a bit less than unity, a bit of -1, a bit more of +1, and a large bit of synth with env. to give me a nice tight sounding meaty tone that sounds squelchy and mean. I can't remember the other settings. I change settings all the time though....
The pedals' glitchy nature will be love or hate with some people. Personally I like it, tho I must admit, even on guitar I rarely ever use the sub.

I use reverb to give my sound a little air, a trick Lane Poor taught me years ago. I'd never though of using reverb on bass until I tried it but it really makes a difference, its subtle and mimics resonance. If you are playing in a gym, not so much. But for the gigs I do, it works for me.
