Thanks! Been wanting both of these for quite awhile and this month the price was right for both. I am a novice at best on each but am laying down cello tracks tomorrow evening on a new song (just a few long bowed notes in a middle section) and have a slide solo in my head for another new tune I plan to record as well. More tools in the tool box

Curious if it is red or orange. Orange to my eyes. Maybe it's the photo, my computer, or my eyes are going!

It is definitely red in person…Fiesta Red to be exact. I would have passed had it been listed as orange. They do have some other nice colors though. I have no affiliation with them but these are some really nice basses. I have one of their '62 P's in black as well. Several YT vids out there demonstrating them.

I picked up a Walrus Mira compressor pedal a few months ago, when they were blowing them out. Told my wife it could be a Christmas present, and she's holding me to it. It's wrapped and waiting under the tree.

But she did surprise me with this: an Ibanez SR600e. I half jokingly put a few mid-tier basses on my Christmas wish list thinking she'd roll her eyes and ignore them. Instead, she bought the one she thought looked the best.

My post-Christmas gift to myself will be a gig bag or case for it.

Thanks. Definitely enjoying the bass! And yes, proprietary bridge, and quite nice. Allows for adjustments for height, intonation and string spacing. Quick release for the strings, as opposed to threading through the bridge. Plus it's countersunk into the body. And the Nordstrands sound great.
