Even though I finished this custom bass in October, it's essentially a Christmas present.

Thanks. Yea, I have a '98 Ray 4H EBMM and it's mint. Bought it off Reverb. The original battery was still in it, and it ate through the wires. Somebody had it in a closet for 20+ yrs. It plays like no other bass.
I Just bought a 2010's Special, 4HH that still has the plastic on the pickguard(from Reverb)--most likely same case--somebody never played it. It was about $2k.
I have bought 10
Really, nice. Enjoy! Not really Christmas presents, but probably should be. Picked up both of these off of FB Marketplace this past month. Deals were too good to pass up!
My first "real" amp, a Mesa Walkabout Scout 12 in near mint condition. Loving the tube pre!

Looks awesome! Nobody is going to miss you on stage with that!This...Modern Vintage has had a really nice sale going on this month. I needed (well maybe "wanted") a nice Jazz in my arsonal so took advantage of it with this '66. Just a superb instrument. I had a "real F" Jazz and couldn't like it no matter what so I sold it, but this is different. The tones you can get out of it are right nigh perfect. It has to be in the p/u's, or maybe just everything combined, I don't know but it's much better than the F Jazz I had previously. Roasted maple neck, vintage bridge, matching headstock, neck binding, hipshot Ultralite "lollipop" tuners, etc. This thing is SO nice. Merry Christmas to ME! =)View attachment 5290497
Thank You, LOL!...yeah I should have mentioned that I was lacking a Jazz AND a Red bass. Took care of both issues at the same time.Looks awesome! Nobody is going to miss you on stage with that!
