I used to have a 71, but I have always wanted a 67 or 68. The truck in the picture is exactly what I want my truck in the future to look like.
This is sitting in my Grandmas garage. It was my Grandpas pride and joy before he died. Now the family has no idea what they should do with it.
The photo was taken at his funeral, they carried his ashes home in it for one last ride
Don't know the particulars but those 55's are bringing 30 to 70 grand these days.
Does anyone remember these? Pantera imported by Ford.
I wanted one of those sooooo bad!

My grandma has 4 children 8 grand children, and 2 great grandchildren. So it's not an easy decision as to who gets it. The logical thing to do would be to sell it and put that money in my grandmothers bank account, but she is kind of attached to the car because it was her husband of 53 years pride and joy.
I have my opinion as to what should be done with it, but its not my decision to make.

The Ram is my daily driver and puts 340 HP to the rear wheels. The Dakota is my baby, it's faster than the Ram, but never been dyno'd

Yep... a 73 with only 1300 original miles. I sold it a few months back as I got unsolicited offer that I could not refuse. I already miss it.

Here's a cool looking car none of you probably has ever seen. One of the few canadian car ever made, actually, french canadian more precisely, from Quebec,. It was only for sale between 69 and 71 before the company folded.

If I was a rich man, first thing I'd do would be to celebrate with friends and loved ones. (Meaning I'd get drunk to the feet)
First thing I'd do the next morning would be buying a Z06 with that terrible hangover and let the sound of the engine sing me a lullaby and sleep in the car.

I absolutely have no use for a Dodge Ram, but man do I love these.
Maybe it's because it kinda looks like Darth Vader?

ps: I love both the old school ones and the recent ones. But I wouldn't change the new Z06 for anything in the world.

DeTomaso in general was amazing. My mom used to have a Cortina, which is the same engine the early Pantera's used.
I'd imagine the Pantera is getting hard to keep up with now...I've noticed lately a lot of parts support for the older Ford Cleveand/Midland engines is going away.
