Always been partial to the simplicity of the Fender logo on the 57 thru 59 headstocks

My Impala JP bass. Started out as a Jazz bass, I installed a Precision pickup in the neck position,

put on an aftermarket neck (USACG), and painted it seafoam green, the same colour used on a ‘57 Chevy. I had no choice but to use an Impala logo on the headstock.

So, if you drove a Rolls Royce, you’d take a sledgehammer to the winged lady?

You wouldn't catch me dead in a Rolls. I'm more of a E-Class guy; no AMG tinsel and in plain black or mohave silver.

Il Cannone doesn't have a logo... and outside its room and display, you'd never know that it was the most valuable musical instrument on the planet.

You might notice a theme developing here. Good thing both are short or medium scale or I might actually have bought them...

Rickenbacker! I'm surprised nobody has mentioned them 3 pages into this thread.

Alembic is probably my second favorite. F Bass, Fodera, and D'Angelico are honorable mentions.

Favorite headstock logo? Probably Steinberger, heh. Nah, I guess I'd go with Fodera in the fancy range and Fender in the regular basses.

I specifically like the Fender TV logo. Also stingray headstock is cool. Charvel logo as well, but I don’t care for the pointy headstock ones.

That's closest to their original logo... Look up pics of Fender amps from 1948 to the early 1950s.
