Ibanez SB700. Lovely and slender. Shame about the sound of the bass.

Warwick for me, it was a serious deciding factor when I was looking for a decent bass...and the satin finish combined with the neck shape was utterly subliminal. I never really got on with the fender precision or jazz necks, which is a shame because from all the fuss I actually wanted to like them. Damnit!

The neck on my Carvin B4 kit is one of the most comfortable necks I have ever wraped my grubby paws around. Its too bad the bass sounds like crap......

I totally agree! Carvin necks are my favorite, but my B4 sounds pretty good with the stacked humbuckers.

Sheldon Dingwall makes the necks of his basses the way that they fit my hands perfectly (owning nearly 30 Dingwalls supports my statement). Great necks (of that caliber) come from Ken Lawrence (Brase), Michael Tobias (535), Warrior bass, too. Many other basses I've tried have nice necks, but the above mentioned necks stand above the crowd

my '95 godin bg 4 has a fantastic neck. both the bg4's and the a4's had great necks in those days and probably still do. the guitar necks are also highly regarded. i also like the necks on my warwick nt streamer and my zon sonus, both nice and thin and fast. best neck i do not own ( but wish i did ), probably an f bass or a pedulla, both very nice.

I like my current Ibanez sr500. I liked my warwick thumb though. However I like the Ibanez a bit better.

Playing a couple Rickenbackers made me a fan, partly because of the great necks.

Besides those, my friend's Schecter Stilleto 5 has a pretty fast neck. So did this Warwick I tried once.

You didn't specify bass, so I'll answer Ibanez PGM90HAM. That is hands down the nicest neck I've ever put in my hand.

im gonna say bass of what ive played, my 08 mia jazz, i love the bite the maple fb gives under the strings compared to a harder wood... guitar, ibanez rg7321 has been the object of my 6 (7) string dreams lately

Fender Jazz Bass necks The thinner the necks the better!!! And the polish on the back makes it nice and smooth.

I have an all maple Philip Kubicki Fender style neck from '81 or '82 that I like real well. Its right between a Precision and a Jazz bass feel.

I bought it off of Ebay for $100 bux, and I wouldnt give it up for anything.
