and have used them all live as pre-amps going into a power amp. If I had to choose just one it would be the Tonehammer.

This thread has landed in a spanish bass forum..and I'll say the same that i've said there.

From the list , my three favourites:

1 - Tech 21 Sansamp ( This is only pure fanatism. I love the sound of this pedal, but I know that it doesn't fit in some situations)

2 - Darkglass B7K (close to the Sansamp..I almost put it in first place , but I still love Sansamp sound)

3 MXR DI+ , for his sound, versatility and price friendly.

I'm waiting for two releases : the Darkglass Vintage Deluxe and the MXR Bass Preamp

Seems the Tech21 RPM (Rackmount Preamp) should be here. I have it and it's awesome. I can dial in nearly every tone with the thing.

Not my style , but it has a good price/quality ratio... I know several guys who had one of these and they are in love with it.
