Besides music ( i play bass and i also sing, though i can't do both at the same time yet...)
I also love acting... i actually have been making a living as an actor for the last 3 years.. i was a part of an argentine company called de la guarda, whose show has been in quite a few places...
and also dancing... i took dance lessons for a couple of years, but i'm really very lazy and can´t get myself focused on many things at the time... right now i'm focused on my band...
reading is another passion. and travelling, but i don't get to travel as much as i'd like to.

Man, I love the sport of Motocross. I raced when I was a teen, then started again in my late 20's. Don't do any racing any more 'cept for the occasional Grand Prix. But I still follow the sport closely and SoCal is still the hotbed for factory teams and riders. Still own bikes though. 2004 50+hp Honda CRF450, '96 CR250R, '96 XR600 street legal.
Nothing like campin in the desert with family and friends ridin all day and drinkin by the fire all night.
I'd like to get our band to come out sometime and setup on this guys trailer and rock the desert. We'd have 'em comin in for miles.

Gardening. I can spend hours turning compost, pulling weeds, planting, etc. Then I sit on the deck, all sweaty, with a cold beer, and enjoy the results of my labor.

Reading, writing absurd articles and blogs, having philosophical discussions at diner time with my family, playing tennis, drawing, longboarding, skiing and telemarking, and irritating annoying salesman who use totaly insipid and useless clichés to try and sucker you into buying stuff.

I've enjoyed this thread. Lots of cool outside interests. Many of you are listing interests, though. I'm not sure I would classify them as "passions". The original poster asked for 'passions". To me, that means something you're obsessed with. Something you take great pleasure in on a regular basis (other than that). I can't see someone having 5 or 6 "passions". Interests, yes.
Two passions some to mind for me: talking about, watching, googling, forum posting, talking over lunch about and collecting anything about the Packers; and, amateur astronomy.

I've been playing some older video games, too. Just started a new file in Super Mario RPG.
Marine science. Been a volunteer at an aquarium the last 5 years, now I'm working on a degree so I can actually get paid for it. You know you love marine sci when getting pinched by a crab makes you happy.
