Kubicki Ex-Factor, easily. But I'm a designer, it's the brilliant design that appeals to me (I've heard they sound & play great as well).
I'll be retiring of 20 years of Military service and I went and got myself one of Stuart Spector's last official builds. A white NS2 which is the carbon copy of Stings Bass. Down to the old school Leo Quan Badass Bass Bridges.I'm retiring after 42 years in 30 days.
To mark the occasion, I'm looking at finding my "dream" bass. I will be pretty much debt free and have a substantial amount to spend. Other than a museum piece, I can pretty much get what I want for the first time ever.
I play mostly country/swamp rock/blues rock and also play at church on Sundays.
In recent years, my tastes have run to the P or P/J sound and light weight and playability are huge factors.
What would you get for, say, under $8k?
BFG
Fender CS 1964 Coral Jazz ...or Entwistle's Alembic Spider Bass:I'm retiring after 42 years in 30 days.
