Part 1: Allegories of the sun.

I pray to the sun just about everyday now btw. I really do appreciate the fact that it has facilitated ALL life on this planet. And if the afterlife is just becoming one with this great ecosystem, that works for me. Bliss.

Part 2: False Flag Attacks.

Makes sense. There's different levels you can take it at. Think for yourself.

Part 3: Slavery.

Think about this, large banks buying out all the smaller banks after a recession caused their values to plummet. In the past few days Bear Stearns was bought out by JP Morgan with help by the Government for next to nothing. So yeah, how about that...

All I really know is that its getting harder and harder for me to try and make my bank account grow. I had to quit bass lessons yesterday. Food is costing more, oil is costing more, consumer goods cost more. People leave college with 40 grand in debt. Can't afford homes or medicine. Our rights are vanishing everyday and Big Brother programs keep growing. Were being forced into slavery. Perpetual war.

Read 1984.

However, the story of Horus in no way parallels that of Christ. Horus was not born of a virgin (his mother had intercourse with a dismembered penis)

Wow man...I'm gonna have to stop you right there, because it's pretty obvious to me that you're a Christian who's unwilling to open your eyes.

Severed penis? So her getting pregnant IS functionally identical to "immaculate conception" in that it is supposedly accomplished by "impossible means". To you this is wildly divergent?

To me, this is FUNCTIONALLY IDENTICAL.

If you're gonna split hairs like this, and pretend it's not the same fable in different packaging, there's nothing I or anyone else can say to try to educate you.

Let's agree to disagree. I think the movie is valuable to those with an open mind. Again, like any documentary, it's not 100% accurate...but to my knowledge, no book, documentary, or historical account of any kind ever is.

Still, I feel it's important to hear all sides...unless of course, you prefer to put your fingers in your ears, and go "NANANANANA"...which is would appear you're out to do.

Have you all noticed that some say the first part is crap, but you really need to watch the 2nd and 3rd parts, and others say the first part is great, and the second and third parts are BS?

I think that should serve as the boldest indicator to anyone on the fence about watching this movie, that it's important to see it for yourself, and draw your own conclusions.

i have to comment because i was so affected by the movie. i don't know if all the things they say are true, but the presentation was excellent, and the yarn they spun to tie all things together was brilliant. great, thought provoking entertainment along the lines (but much better) of the X-Files conspiracy and Oliver Stone's Kennedy assassination movie.

it will definitely inspire me to do some more of my own research on the subject.

btw, completely fiction, but another "fire up the bong" mind bender is "Man From Earth". That is a movie done by one of the late writers of the Twilight Zone. It is fantastic. Warning for those looking for action, it is primarily dialogue.

And how would you address those who used to believe that to be the case, but no longer accept it as a viable hypothesis?

There's more than a bit of irony in that statement.

As a student of the 20th century, I was compelled in 2000, by what I knew of the rise of the National Socialist Party in Germany,to do a comparison of 1930's Germany and 21st century America. I saw this film back to back with "From Freedom To Fascism" and couldn't sleep for two nights. I'd drawn conclusions that I more or less kept to myself, and watched as they rolled by on the TV one after the other. Why couldn't I have been right about everything else I drunkenly postulate about? Sources aside? The playbook written in blood across Europe is still valid. Validation comes from the VP's "So" quote when it was mentioed that the people were less that pleased with progress in foreign affairs.

We also live in a time where someone with no apparent constitutional knowledge can comment (flippantly) on the legalities of the current taxation scheme, and the Federal Reserve (without the benefit of even watching the movie, no doubt).

Hooray for the Innernets indeed!

(Where's Ron Paul when you need him? Oh yeah...the press locked him out)

I think we live in a great time when any nutjob with video editing software and access to stock footage can throw together conspiracy theories and other nonsense into a video, put it out on the web and have this many people buy into it.

Hooray for teh internets!

I don't think you should dismiss it out of hand. The filmmakers took a big gamble by stitching together Christianity, 9/11, and Federal Reserve cabal. So if you find one section hard to swallow and turn it off, you'll lose out on some gems in Part III.

Particularly chilling are past presidents and senators (and Benjamin Franklin) quotes about a Central Bank (Federal Reserve). And the whole reason why we had the Revolutionary War and what our country has become today.

Apparently, without our knowledge, we are now part of the American Union (with Canada and Mexico) and that there will be a new currency called the Amero? Can anyone confirm this?

Not to bring this into a politcal arguement, but yes, sort of. Do some research on the SPP (Security and Prosperity Partnership- it even has an Orwellian name!). If you want email me and I will forward you some of the comittee minutes and updates I receive from one of our NDP (one of our political parties) MPs (members of parliament). This is being negotiated behind closed doors by corporations and our gov'ts.
