Zoom MS-60B announced... at last

I sold off my MS-50G and am awaiting the arrival of the 60B! super excited, I loved the 50G with my setup. I can't wait to try the preamps on this!

The preamps and amps are all very good and very adjustable.

If you feel you're wasting board space then maybe you have the wrong pedals on there.

Well I got mine yesterday and was able to spend some time with it for the past hour or so. Keep in mind this is just through my computer interface / headphones. The real test will be integrating it into my pedalboard but honestly I already know this is going to be the perfect complement for my rig. The octaves and synths track very well. VERY well. This is what I'm most psyched about. I have a Markbass Supersynth which I mostly use as an octave right now, very thrilled if this can replace it. The reverbs and delays are quite good, though I already have an M5 last in my chain for that stuff. The drives and amp models are fine, turning the cab models off helps them out for my tastes. Tremolo is great, phaser is good.

As a catch all stompbox modeler it seems just about perfect.

Yes, I imagine it will find its way onto many pedal boards, just to add a bunch of effects that you perhaps don't use enough to buy a dedicated pedal for but still could use once or twice.

I didn't want to waste space on reverbs,delays and filters because I don't use them enough this pedal lets me play around with those effects without having five pedals on my board that may get used two or three times a month if that. I finally got my board done and if you look at my profile you can see what I went through to get it there.

I agree are the effects better than some boutique analog effects costing three to four times as much? probably not but this thing sounds great and is a tweakers delight for only $100.00 you can't beat it.

In this day and age who's got the $$$$ to find the "right" pedal? It is a Never ending search and we all know it! I have found my "right" pedals, and I'm hoping this fills out the rest! Thought the M5 would do it, but it was too limited, and too BIG!

You need to go to your effects list (press the middle knob). On the bottom right of the screen you'll see 'A/B'. Scroll through your effects (middle knob) and find the one you want, eg '08: Paul Bass'. Press the right knob and and 'A' will pop up. Now scroll up to '07: Octaver'. Press the right button and a 'B' will appear. Now scroll to 50 (blank bank - thru-put) and hit the right button again. NOW....hit the footswitch. You now have 3 banks ready to jam with. A - Paul, B - Octaver and C - Bypass. You can add or remove effects this way to your sonic pallette's content! (I recommend having a bypass in there somewhere)
