I was one of the few who got it ahead and i could say that this thing sounds really good. I set it up with a loop master tb to switch it on and off while the patches are trigger ready. Been using this live for almost a month now and it really sounds great!

How's the compressor on this thing? How about the synth sounds.. Those are pretty much the main patches I would want to use.. maybe the defret and octave one.. but for $100 it might be a good thing to consider.

I'm using the 160 comp as an always on effect, and the demeter model when I want a more noticeable squash. I turned down the MXR M87 and Diamond Bass Compressor, so that should tell you how much I like this little guy.

To get two great compressors and tuner in a Boss-sized box, for $100, was all the motivation I needed. I think I'll be using the CE-5 and the octaver as well, from time to time.

I usually don't buy in to the multi-effects but this pedal intrigues me. Mine will be here Saturday. I am interested in the amp modelers....looks like each effect and model can be tweaked and tweaked. I hope the learning curve isn't too crazy.

Mines coming on Saturday too. Anyone have some good patches for a synthy dubby type of sound? Octave into a synth into a fuzz type of patch? This pedal intrigues me as well. My band plays mostly rock covers but we also play a few synth dub step time of songs, so the thought of having this in one pedal instead of having to have 3 pedals take up space on my nano interests me.

I know the synth won't be the same as say a Xerograph, but in a crowded bar with everybody drinking and dancing I don't think people would be able to tell the difference between the two...

It is easy to use and it is a tweakers delight the amp and preamps are great.

Saw one for cheap today (~$US85)so took the plung. Serious bang for the buck. Think I like my M9 more due to the expression pedal options... but the Zoom is perfect for my cover band.

That's my thinking. The ability to stack 4 pedals per preset should work out very well for this use, and I have a small looper I might be able to squeeze onto my nano for an on/off stomp switch like mr phatbass.

Very disappointed that they didn't put the B-15 model in there. I use it all the time in my B3, and it sounds great. That's a deal-breaker for me. The Hartke model instead? Not the choice I would have expected.

I was going to suggest you try replacing the 8x10 cabinet sim on the SVT model with the 1x15 cabinet sim, but I now see that Zoom pulled that option as well... Ouch!

Hang in there with the B3, which is a keeper

Fifty.

Out of the box, the first thirty slots come pre-programmed with Zoom's demo patches, and the last twenty are empty. The last 9 demo slots are artist patches, designed by Frank Bello, Doug Wimbish and Phil Buckman. All can be overwritten, if you wish.
