Just quickly, this is everything I wanted (both!) my M5's to be and weren't. Filters are awesome where the Line6's sucked! Tuner and Comps are worth the $100 bones alone.

Finally went through the demo patches this afternoon, checking them out, equalizing levels, etc. Some of them have little surprises, like the octaver that's in the reggae patch, but not turned on.
I HATE the Big Muff model. Fizzy, tizzy and annoying, just like the first one I bought, around 1972. There's a nice bit of transparent OD tucked away in the DI5 effect, though. Just a gentle, tubey grind- much more to the taste of a clean freak like me...
The modulated reverb is good, as are the hall and plate.
The filters are way better than the weak ones I have in JamUp and Amplitube on my iPad. Better than my old POD XT Live as well, I think...
The Jaco patch sounds better than anything I was able to dial up with the de-fret effect alone. I still don't like it, though.

I'll be able to test it out with the rig tonight finally since I've got rehearsal. All I need now is a wireless unit so I can hear my FOH sound but the way "I" play!

I agree about the Big Muff and that Metal OD is harsh I haven't tweaked it yet but I can't see it working with the old stuff I play.
You can beef it up with an amp model. But I agree, I'm keeping my real Big Muff on the board...
What are you guys doing for an Octaver setting? Mine's not tracking as well as I've heard on vids.

Off topic, but I have the same distortion pedal (CM-2 Hardwire). Really love it.
I like mine, too. Always on!

Do you find it tracks well? The M5 tracked all the way down to low E, and this is only going down to low A, like a real pedal. The vids seem to show it tracking better.
