Zoom Owners' Club!

I suspect that Samash doesn't even know that they're discontinued ... IMO, not the most switched-on music retailer in America...

the reason the B9 never really took off is because they had too much in one box and that blew out the price... under $300 is important

While Zoom confirmed they are discontinued, they emphasized that they are still on the market and its possible to get a new one. Here's to hoping...

I have a 9. I am glad I spent the money. It's an amazing piece of hardware to say the least. Kinda odd that bass players will spend $900 on a cab, $6-700 on a head, $1,200+ on a bass, but when it comes to signal processing, 300 is considered the cutoff point. I eliminated everything previously in my pedal chain with it and then really went beyond. Maybe I'm just the odd man out, but I found it awesome that I could effortlessly blend from one style of music to the next with this thing. I use it for so much in the band I'm in. I love the pedal synth, which is a lifesaver for sure in a three piece, and the bass synths are really handy to have, the overdrives are really cool, and the amp and cab modeling is surprisingly good. Plus, I can use it as a preamp for my Jazz, or my Ibanez acoustics and do some really great stuff with it. Just ahead of their time, I suppose. But they make some really great stuff. Maybe they'll get the market caught up with it eventually. I dunno.

Hello, I have a B3 and love it, just got the FP02 expression pedal... I bought it used and I have no idea how to make it work. I plug it in and I can effect the volume by pressing the pedal but I really want to effect the amount of distortion/wah/other effects ...is there a detailed video or instructions anywhere that can explain how to set it up for this... the volume pedal is useless to me, I want to be able to go from dry bass to saturated with effect bass with the pedal ya know?!?! Thanks for any info on how to set it up!
