U.S. Peavey Club

I'm going to put an Audere amp in my Koa Unity Dyna. The preamp works, but the center detents aren't well "detented". If anyone wants the preamp for parts or whatever, I'll send it to you for free. It's on a board, so not a general use preamp. Will likely have a set of pickups that I can include too. They aren't making these anymore, so I'd rather someone get some use out of it than just hitting the landfill.

Edit: going to drumsnbass

As a new 4 string Dyna Bass Unity owner I’d be happy to warehouse it just in case I ever need it. And pay shipping too!

The more I read this thread, the more I realize we US Peaveyites are the enlightened. The Illuminati. The living realization the quality and cost are not joined at the hip. That being said - boy would I love a Milly 5 Plus with Birdseye board, or TL-5 ( honestly to strip to bare wood and finish in hand rubbed oil).
What’s the best way to strip a neck through bass?

There’s a TL-5 going for cheap on eBay right now. I clicked into the description and had a good chuckle . Poor bass...this is the quintessential big box store story:

“Walked into Sam Ash Music several years ago and found the bass laying in the floor. A customer attempted to put the bass up on higher mount and it fell striking several amps before hitting the floor. Broke the electronics cavity as well as disabling the preamp. Sam Ash repaired the body. I added a Seymour Duncan 3 band active preamp with EMG active soapbar pickups...The back does have some gouges on the back from hitting the amps. Neck is great as are the frets. Great playing and sounding bass”

Saw that one as well. In my opinion - at that point...it's trash. Might as well gut the pickups, tuners, and other parts and sell them off.

Better yet, the dumb @#$% customer should have paid for the bass for being careless. I'm super picky about the condition of my instruments. No way that would have let that slide if it said anything else but Peavey on the headstock.

Hah! I was looking at that one too. It is a beauty. Congratulations.

As they say like two ships in the night. I was looking at this one and it's a shame that the seller won't ship or reply to messages. This is the finish and color I want for a four-string variant.

He has had that for sale for a long time because of no shipping. A hard headed guy, I guess. Hey, take it to FedEx and let them pack it and let the buyer pay for it. Duh.

Here is my Millennium Plus 4 J/J. It is a great bass:
